My MAC lipstick collection

Hi Everyone! I'm back!! 

Sorry that I've been gone for so long I've been so busy with work and school.  I thought I'd share my Mac lipstick collection with you.  The mac lipsticks retail for $15.00 for the original ones and the sheen supreme retail for $16.00.  You can find that at the mac stores inside the mall or any department store that has beauty products and of course on their website.  Right now mac has a promotion going on for free standard shipping until Christmas!  I only have six in my collection but its growing!  So here it is! I hope that you all enjoy.

Saint Germain is a bubble gum pink lipstick.  It's an amplified lipstick.  This is probably my least favorite out of my collection because it's so hard to wear.   It doesn't go on even and is hard to wear due to the fact that it is so bright.

Sweetie is a berry colored pink.  This is a lustre lipstick.  It's very creamy and hydrating.  This is my favorite out of my collection.  It goes on very easy and smooth.  It brings the right amount of color to my face.  Bear in mind that I have fair pale skin.  

Mehr is a deep rose color.  This is a matte lipstick.  I do like this color but it can't be worn on its own.  It needs a lipgloss over it.  This is a very mature lipstick.

Creme Cup is a nude pink color. This is a creme sheen lipstick.  This is a great beginners lipstick because its so easy to wear.  It adds just the right amount of color to the lips and is very moisturizing. 

Viva Glam Nicki is a corally pink color. This is a satin lipstick.  It is an extremely bright lipstick! When I say bright I mean it! I don't wear this lipstick very often because it is so bright. This would look great on deep skin tones. 

Full Speed is a pink lipstick with red undertones.  This lipstick is a beautiful color.  It's very creamy and goes on with ease.  This would be great to wear for a night out.

CANDLES!

Helllooo! I have been MIA for awhile and I'm sorry for that! School started back up and I've been so consumed in my school work I really haven't had much time for anything.  So last weekend I was surfing the internet and decided I wanted some new candles.  So I went on the bath and body works  website and ordered a bunch of stuff. : ) and it came in today! I was so excited too get my scents.  I had no idea what any of it was really gonna smell like because you can't smell the candles through the website. 

    The scents I got were:

Leaves- This smells like christmas. It's very cinnamony.
Farmstand Apple: Smells like fresh apples. This is a very refreshing scent.
Frosted cupcake: Smells just like the name.  I was expecting this scent to be sweeter though.
Pumpkin caramel latte: This is an extremely sweet and smells like pumpkins and cinnamon.
Mahogany teakwood: This smells exactly like the abercrombie fierce cologne. This is my favorite scent that I got.

Dior Addict Ulta Gloss Review

Hey Everyone! 

So recently I purchased two dior lip glosses.  I've read a lot of reviews on them and heard a lot of good things.  They retail at $28.00.  I wanted to buy a good gloss that wasn't sticky and had a good color pay off. Let me tell you these are probably the best lip glosses that are out on the market right now.  They are not sticky or heavy at all.  They are moisturizing and feel great on your lips!  I bought them the shade 256 negligee pink and 686 outrageous fuchsia

Okay now onto the cons. I don't have very many. Personally I do not like the smell of these lip glosses. To me they smell like sunscreen, but because of the non stickiness of them I still enjoy wearing them.  Negligee pink is a very sheer pink that only shows a tiny bit of color.  I only wear this gloss when I have lipstick underneath it so my lips stay moist.  Outrageous fuchsia has glitter in it.  You can feel them when you rub your lips together and the glitter stays on your lips once the gloss is rubbed off. That is the only downfall of the 686 color.  BUTTTT... it is my favored gloss of the two.  It is a beautiful berry color and looks amazing in pictures.

Sweet dream!!

Okay so this post post probably won't be interesting to anyone, but I had the coolest dream last night.  I met this guy that I was totally crazy over, but I came to find out that that he had kissed someone else right before he met me.  Like as in the same day! So I was mad and went to my friends house.  When I was telling her about him and describing what he looked like, she told me he was part of this super hero group called the A team.  I know what you are thinking super hero? right erica, dream big! Well it was a dream. Her room is upstairs so we had a perfect view of the firework/party thingy that was going on.  The party was for the A team.  The whole group was there except Sam.  Sam was the guy that I liked.  They all kept looking up at me though the window and whispering to each other. I didn't get it.  After a few minutes of them starring at me, here comes Sam with a whole group of girls following him.   I got even more annoyed at him because he looked like he was enjoying these girls falling over him.  When he met up with his group they pointed up at me.  He looked up at me and flew up to the window to talk.  He could see that I was still mad at him and I could see the hurt in his eyes.  He told me that it's okay if I didn't want to talk to him but the rest of the group did.  I looked at my friend and she had a big grin on her face and told me to go.  
I stood up and turned around and Sam asked what I was doing. I told him that I had to go downstairs to get outside. And he laughed and flew though the window and picked me up and flew down to his group.  There were four in their group. Two girls and two guys including Sam.  The blonde girl who was beautiful didn't not seem friendly and even annoyed that I was there. The other girl had jet black hair and was starring at me like she knew something about me.  The guy was tall and pure muscle, he looked intimidating and looked like he could do some serious damage to someone who ticked him off.  And then there was Sam.  Tall, toned, shaggy blonde hair and crystal blue eyes.  He was simply beautiful.  The girl with jet black hair was the first to say something.  She introduced herself as Brooke and said that they have been waiting awhile for me.  I looked at her like she was crazy and laughed.  She described to me that the A Team was a group of five special people each representing something.  Wind, water, earth, fire, and the fifth was the connector that completes the group.  Brooke told me that I was the fifth link that was missing.  Jane the blonde finally spoke up.  She starting yelling and saying that Brooke didn't know what she was talking about and that they didn't need a fifth.  I was shaking with nervousness, Sam stood next to me and put his hand on my lower back and instantly I calmed down.  Sam turned to the group and told them that this was probably too much for me to take in and that they should slow down. I felt my back bone straighten up and took a step away from him and turned to Brooke.  She had this big smile on her face, and I asked her how does she know that I was the missing link.  She explained that each person in the group has a special power and a connection to something, and that she can read what the connection is and what the super power is.  She smiled and grabbed my hand and said your connection is to Sam and your power is to fuel the group and hold them together.  She grabbed Sam's hand and put it in mine and linked our fingers.  At that moment something in the sky light up.  It looked like a star but was too bright and big to be one.  The big muscle guy stepped forward and grabbed Jane's hand and said to her "has Brooke ever been wrong?"  She pushed away from will and flew away.  Will looked at me and said she would warm up.  Sam grabbed my face and said what do you say? 
(okay i know this seems stupid and far fetched but this is what really happened in my dream.  So please don't be mean about this)
There was more but I don't think anyone wants to hear it.

My camera broke so that's why there hasn't been and beauty reviews or pictures going on my blog. I'm sorry for that! I'm  hoping I get my camera fixed sometime today and if i do I will post a review on here later! 

Nail Polish of the day

Well so much for me posting everyday. hehe. I just felt that I didn't have much to say over the weekend.  It's been really sunny today, so I decided to finally set up the mini pool one of the girls I work with gave me.  I don't know what it is but I can't handle the heat.  I can lay out for hours if there is water by me, but if there isn't it will take me about a half hour before I'm ready to call it quits.  Does anyone else have this problem?  If I had to pick one season to have for the rest of my life it would be fall.  So I set this little pool up and jumped in it and laid out for an hour, then I got bored. : P

YSL lipstick review

I have some time before work so I thought why not do a review!  

I'm a huge youtube junky. I love watching videos on beauty hauls and reviews.  I kept seeing people rave about the YSL lipsticks.  So awhile ago when I was at the mall I went into a Sephora store.  I decided to try the YSL lipsticks.  As soon as it hit my lips I was in love.  Now when I say that this lipstick applies nice, I'm not joking!  These lipstick slide on your lips like butter.  They are so moisturizing and creamy.  Everything about this lipstick is amazing.The color payoff is great. They retail for $34.00. Which to me is a lot.  So I waited and searched the internet and found a cheaper price on ebay.  I got mine for $26.00. I got the shade Rouge Volupte.

 

Would i recommend this to someone? Absolutely!

Introduction

Hey everyone! My name is Erica and this is my first blog entry.  I'm gonna try to post everyday.  I'll talk about anything from my daily life, to makeup and fashion.

I'll start by telling you about myself.  I'm 22 years young and from Michigan.  I am going to college for nursing and have two jobs.  I work in a hospital and am a waitress at a hole in the wall place by my house.  Everyone tells me that I march to my own beat.  I'm still trying to figure out if that is a good thing or not? : P  I am currently single..hopefully that will change because I am a hopeless romantic.  I think I manage to get through life by laughing.  I have the best group of girlfriends a girl could ask for.  Unfortunately I don't get to see them as much as I used to because of my job.
